Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in a single Word file (.doc or .docx), with the tables and figures included (in low resolution). All tables and figures are placed in the appropriate places in the text, instead of at the end.
  • The text is written in Times New Roman font, size 11, letter-size page layout and double-spaced.
  • The submission file is accompanied by a letter of submission in PDF format and duly signed by at least the leader of the correspondence.
  • All authors have indicated their full name, institutional affiliation, correspondence address, e-mail and OrcID. If any of them do not have it, you can get it for free at https://orcid.org/
  • In the submission letter, the names of at least three evaluators are suggested, including the necessary contact information (e-mail).
  • The submission has not been published or is not being considered for publication in another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the submission letter).
  • Whenever possible, URLs and the DOI (in the case of articles published in periodicals) have been provided for references.
  • The text adheres to the other stylistic and bibliographical requirements set out in the Authors' Guide.

Privacy Statement

The names, addresses, and emails registered by the authors for the submission of your manuscript in the Bulletin will be unique and exclusively used for the purposes declared by the journal and will not be supplied to third parties for any other purpose.

In the case of Colombian authors, we recommend they have the CvLac updated. Once the documents are accepted and published on the journal website, we ask authors to share them in their scientific networks to give greater visibility to their writings.
