A new species of the genus Armina,, collected off the northern Caribbean coast of Colombia at depths of 310 and 460 m in soft bottoms is described. The number of notal ridges, die position of the genital papilla, the size and the shape of radular teedi and the features of the masticator}' process arc the main differences to other congeneric spccies occurring in Atlantic waters. Armina juliana n. sp. is the first record for the family Arminidae in the Colombian Caribbean.Downloads
