The presence of the species Plagiodiscus nervatus is reported for fist time in the Colombian Caribbean coastal sea. Three specimens were found, two cells in Bahia Gaira on August 2000 and 2001 in surface samples, the other cell in Bahía Chengue on May 2012 at 2 m deep. The observations showed two particular forms of the species, one with nervature and the other without it, both larger in sizes compared with those reported by other authors for the Caribbean Sea and elsewhere in the world. It is extremely important to report additional species to complement and perform inventory and lists of the species present in the area.Downloads
