A simple procedure is presented which facilitates the comparison of k-dominance curves and permits statistical comparison of replicated curves. Two indices are proposed, one for diversity (KDI) and one for dominance (KDO), which summarize the relationships in terms of diversity between one assemblage and all the others in a given set of data, as it is depicted by k-dominance curves.Downloads
