Abstract
The sharks of six and seven gill openings, that belong to the order Hexanchiformes, are very rare in the commercial captures of tropical America; its species are typical inhabitants of cold boreal seas, and they rarely enter into warm waters. The capture of Hexanchus griseus, for the first time, in tropical waters of the American Pacific ocean, is presented in this record.Downloads
