Abstract

Gravid females of the blue Shrimp Venaeus stylirostris, captured in nature, were put in aquariums of 50 liters of capacity in order to them lay their eggs. When this took place, the adult females were taken out and the biological observation began. Each step of the larval stage was carefuly studied, described and drawn, to obtaine the most complete information.
