Abstract

During the years 1977-1978 a systematic, zoogeographic and ecological study of the swimming crabs of the Caribbean coast of Colombia was made. 5 genera and 18 species were identified; from these 10 spqeies are new records for Colombia. A key for the identification of genera and species is given.
